John Richey has been playing guitar since he was just a pup. He plays a left handed guitar strung for a right hander. So the high E is on the top. Its all because as a child he coveted his father's right handed guitar. So he cleverly distracted his father and quickly switched guitars while his father wasn't looking. He follows in the finger steps of legends such as Dick Dale, Albert King, Coco Montoya and Doyle Bramhall II. John knows just about every classic rock tune ever written and is frequently seen playing them with Client Nine and The Nortons. He tends to favor single coil left handed guitars like his '96 anniversary strat and his Telecaster '52 reissue. He also is getting into building his own amps.
